oscommerce development

I am currently working on a couple of ecommerce projects in my spare time. I use the open source commerce package better known as (oscommerce) . I have to admit when I began using oscommerce I didnt know the first thing about SQL, PHP, or even basic HTML and CSS. Much has changed since then and I am more knowledgable in HTML, XHTML, CSS, ActionScript, JavaScript and some minor SQL and PHP. It is amazing how much I have learned and how fast it all took place. My first ecommerce project was a store which sells neon signs called AAA Sign Store The site looks ok but I am definately going to do some work to make it a little more user friendly in the very near future. Right now as I sit I am a lil in over my head. I have two major web projects on my plate one being an oscommerce site and the other static xhtml (piece of cake). However when that is finished I have to do one more and then find time to revise the AAA Signstore . All I can say is Im going bald very quickly with all this erroneous php code that keeps getting thrown at me. For the most part things have went smoothly for this new installation. However I am always trying to take my web sites to new levels and have made quite a job for myself.
Anyway I will be posting some of the solutions that caused me so much agony online in hopes to help a fellow coder with a similar problem. There are times when I will search and search for an answer to my problem. Sometimes I find them and sometimes I dont. However maybe I can brighten someone elses day with the things I have learned. Feel free to email me with anything you may need assistance with. I am by no means a professional PHP programmer but I will still look at your project and see if I can help.
