MSN Offline messages on your cellphone
First off I would just like to appologize to my readers for my lack of fresh posts. I have been working on multiple projects. With that said here is a new tip for all you MSN messenger fans.
I have yet to try this method. It just sort of came to me the other day so i decided to write it down.
My cellphone has an email address and no I will not post it. But it looks something like this XXXXXXXXXX@email.uscc.net where the X represents the number. Now there are several different email domains for different providers and I have drummed up a list of them and provide it at the bottom of this post.
So I thought why not sign up for a MSN account using my cellphone and then direct offline messages to that account. When a user clicks your screename icon in MSN and you are offline it instantly opens their email client for them to email you. When I email my cellphone email address it arives via txt message. So there you have it plain and simple setup an account with your phones email, merge your existing account with that one (be sure to forward offline messages to the phone account), and be sure not to give out your phones MSN account unless you dont mind giving your phone number to that person.
Simple but effective…
Any of you out there who try this please post in the comments and let me know how this works out. Now for that list of provider email extentions I promised. Im not going to list them all here because it would make for quite a long post. The good crew over at Note Page have listed them for us and boy is there alot of them. Heres the link
