Removing candle wax with an iron

If you have ever spilled hot wax on fabric or carpet you may have thought it would be impossible to remove. Well I have a little tip to pass on that helped me out of a jam when I spilled hot wax all over a table cloth. Pre heat an iron on medium heat, then take a damp (not soaked) wash cloth and place it over the area. Once your iron has warmed up begin ironing the wash cloth while it is positioned over the affected area. This will cause the wax to heat up and the moisture will attract the wax to the cloth, and away from the affected area.
